Joost In Time

And never has an Open been more enthusiastically anticipated than what awaits at Royal St. George’s in a couple of weeks

Joost In Time

Joost Luiten continues to impress and a big breakthrough awaits the amiable Dutchman. After an injury setback halted his fast progress, Joost has shown that the layoff did nothing for his desire or ability.

Third place behind Spaniards Pablo Larrazabal and Sergio Garcia in Germany, where he finished just two shots back, showed that the big stage awaits the highly successful former amateur.

Joost was our top finisher in Munich, but there were encouraging performances from David Horsey and Richard Finch, who both finished in the top 25 in what is proving a very competitive European season.

It is very pleasing to look at the way the balance of power has shifted towards Europe while Britain has never had it better holding the top three places in the world ranking for the first time ever.   Long may it continue.

And never has an Open been more enthusiastically anticipated than what awaits at Royal St. George’s in a couple of weeks.
