
Jeev was part of the Asian Team in the Royal Trophy which was played at Amata Spring CC in Thailand where they were defeated in a closely fought contest against an in-form European Team with the final score being eight and a half to Europe and seven and a half to Asia.
In the day one foursomes Jeev teamed up with Indian youngster Gagenjeet Bhullar and they halved with Soren Kjeldsen and Peter Hanson. In the day two fourballs Jeev again partnered Gaganjeet and played against European Captain Colin Montgomerie and Simon Dyson who produced some excellent golf to win the match 4 and 3.
In the final day singles Jeev made a birdie at the last to beat 2008 European number one Robert Karlsson by 2 and 1.
In the last singles match of the day on Sunday Henrik Stenson holed a six foot putt for par to win the final point for Europe which gave them victory.
Jeev now takes a week off before playing in the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship.
